Association of Human Communication at ASU

The Association of Human Communication at ASU (AHC), was formed by and for undergraduate students of The Hugh Downs School of Human Communication. The focus of AHC is communication, community, and careers. The association strives to help communication majors get to know one another and the faculty, share ideas about the major and outside interests and interact with professionals in the field of communication.

ASU Forensic Team, Speech and Debate

The Sun Devil Speech & Debate team, associated with Pi Kappa Delta national forensic honorary association, travels to trophy tournaments across the country. The Forensics team is the oldest student organization at ASU and consistently receives team awards and individual awards at national competitions.

Lambda Pi Eta Honor Society

Lambda Pi Eta is the official communication studies honor society of the National Communication Association (NCA). Membership in the Alpha Alpha Omicron chapter is offered by The Hugh Downs School of Human Communication.

Communication Graduate Student Association

The purpose of the CGSA is to foster community among graduate students in The Hugh Downs School Interdisciplinary Graduate Program and any other ASU graduate student on any campus interested in the Communication discipline.  The CGSA also promotes interest in the academic, professional, and social well-being of all organizations' members in an effort to prepare for post-graduate school careers.

International Association of Business Communicators (IABC)

The International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) provides a wide range of services for both communication students and communication professionals.
