As a Ph.D. student and researcher at the Center for Strategic Communication, I study new ways for organizations to adapt their messages for intercultural audiences to excel in global environments and further their goals. I study and apply methods for evaluating strategic communication from a worldview theory approach and focus on religiopolitical organizations where differences in worldview assumptions can be most profound.
Prior to ASU, I was founder and managing partner of Global Perspectives Consulting, working across private, public, and non-profit sectors in the same area of intercultural communication and competence. I was also adjunct faculty in the College of Professional Studies, Regis University, Denver for 9 years, facilitating courses in qualitative research, intercultural communication, cultural intelligence, and nonverbal communication.

Intersection of worldview theory expansion and strategic and organizational communication, and in particular, how narratives are used by organizations to create corporate culture and effectively reach audiences to further their goals.
Recent research project: Japanese and European technology education, research, and consulting and intercultural competence in diverse teams. How do positionality, agency, and morality affect team success? How do organizations structure communication to connect (or fail to connec) with their audiences.
Worldview and cultural analysis of narratives to explain and anticipate outward observable behaviors and the functions of sociocultural institutions.
