Biography

George is an instructor as well as a tutor for the core communication classes in The Hugh Downs School of Human Communication: COM 100, 207, 225, 308, 407, and 408. George was born and grew up in Northeastern Arizona. After graduating from Arizona State University he pursued a masters degree in communication from Illinois State University with research focused on teaching and gender performance. While at Illinois State he worked as a tutor for public speaking courses and was a Lincoln Douglas debate coach. He offers assistance with topic suggestions for speeches or papers; going back over assignments; APA style issues; thinking through review of literature topics; and of course, helping understand theories and methodologies.
