Izak Dunn

Biography

Izak is an instructor and Assistant Director of Debate for the Hugh Downs School of Human Communication.  He witnessed his first debate round at the age of 13 and has never left the activity.  Before coming to the Hugh Downs School, he was a full-time debate coach at Idaho State University, Gonzaga University, the California Academy of Forensics, and Eastern Washington University. He has also assisted debate teams in a part-time capacity at St. Francis High School, Weber State University, Fullerton Union High School, Spokane's University High School, and Capitol High School in Boise, ID, and Pocatello's Century High School.  Izak also teaches debate and argumentation at a variety of high school summer camps and assists the Ethics Bowl team in the Barrett Honors College.
