Free Listening at ASU

Learn and Practice Free Listening

The Transformation Project in the Hugh Downs School of Human Communication are thrilled to bring Free Listening to ASU. Led and initiated by first-year doctoral student Nikki Truscelli. Urban Confessional is an amazing group of people who volunteer their time in the community by listening. Urban Confessional encourages free listening and invites others to take initiative and share it with their own community. The guidelines are simple and the only materials required are yourself and a free listening sign.

Please bring a piece of cardboard and join us for free listening at ASU. We will make our signs together (supplies provided) and review the guidelines before Free Listening on our campus. The learn and practice session is 1.5 hours, but you are welcome to come for as long as you can.

Feel free to share this with ANYONE who may be interested in this opportunity (your undergrad students, family, friends, other colleagues). Below are both the guidelines for free listening and a short video about the motivation behind free listening.
