Civility Instead Forum

Border immigration: Should we build the wall?

Civility Instead is a student-led organization whose mission is to foster civil communication about important, often controversial, topics. C.I. students host two forums each semester and invite the general ASU student body population and extended community to participate. The Civility Instead forums provide a great opportunity for students to put into practice the skills they learn in COM classrooms and to spark interest in courses and certifications offered through the Hugh Downs School of Human Communication and the Institute for Civil Dialogue.

Catherine Stermetz, instructor in the Hugh Downs School, is the advisor of the student group.
