Biography

As an undergraduate, I studied at the University of Alabama and earned a B.A. in Communication with a focus in Telecommunication & Film.  I stayed at UA to pursue my master's degree in Communication Studies where I became heavily interested in studying relational conflict and conflict transformation.  I took this desire to provide practical outcomes for relational partners and families to ASU where I study human communication.  I hope to help partners and families in times of transition where conflict is likely to occur and ultimately uncover ways to manage such tension to best promote positive relationships amongst individuals.

Research Interests

Studies interpersonal relationships in times of transition where conflict is likely to occur, specifically within the context of families
