Biography

Adam Symonds received his doctoral degree in communication from the Annenberg School for Communication at the University of Southern California where he studied critical rhetorical and cultural methods, specifically investigating representations of Whiteness in popular media. He worked with the ASU Forensics team as an assistant coach for debate for the 2007-2008 season and became the director of the ASU Forensics Team in the fall of 2008.  In 2010, Adam received the Pacific Region Critic of the Year award from the Cross-Examination Debate Association.
