Online Override Request Instructions

Online Overrides are available between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday - Friday, excluding holidays and Registrar purge days.

Please ensure that all of your information is entered correctly. Override requests may be discarded for the following reasons:

• Incorrect or misspelled name
• Incorrect Student ID (ASU and Affiliate)
• Incorrect course name or line numb

Before you can use the online override request system, you must have a browser that supports forms and SSL high encryption. Encryption is required by the Buckley Amendment to protect your privacy. We apologize if this causes you any inconvenience.

NOTICE: When you click the link below, you may receive an warning about the certificate. This is because the certificate was generated locally using 128-bit encryption by our technical staff. Please ignore any such errors you receive and accept this certificate. You may chose the option (depending on the browser) to view the certificate and verify for yourself that it is indeed from the Hugh Downs School.

Also note that duplicate requests made on the same day may be deleted and/or rejected without comment by the reviewer. Please do not submit multiple requests in a day. Space overrides that become available are not known to Hugh Downs administration until the next morning, so denied requests will not be overturned later in the day. Course overrides are evaluated by a single person and therefore will result in the same outcome as before. Remember to search the complete list of courses when searching for your course as the courses may not be listed in sequential order.
