The Hugh Downs School of Human Communication presents
November 14, 3:00-5:00 pm Stauffer 318
Cornucopia
What is Cornucopia? We take it a step beyond the "horn of plenty". Cornucopia is a performance/reading hour that the faculty and graduate students offer to the Hugh Downs School community as a way of saying "thanks" for being our students, teachers, and co-workers.

Inquiring About Communication
Just how much do you know about the discipline of communication? If you’re an alum, you can visit the Hugh Downs School booth at the Homecoming Block Party and test your knowledge. You’ll be greeted by our faculty filled with questions (no, not hard ones like calculate a standard deviation or provide an interpretation of Bakhtin), ones you should know on the spot. If you’re right, you’ll walk home with a nice prize commemorating the HDSHC and probably some new appreciation of the scholarship that’s happening right here in Stauffer Hall. What better way to spend a Saturday afternoon than by visiting with other professional communicators before heading to the game? There will be food, drink, and lots of fun for all who participate. And, it is a great way to stay connected to your alma mater.
